I'm back in the US! As I said and people I talked to about it know, I was getting really tired of them only paying for 30 hours of work and having me work more. Next month was going to be 50 hours of work a week, and I would have had to stay for 2 months doing that if I gave notice, so I just left after my trip to the Philippines.

My most recent trip was out to Tubal Cain. This hike was a nice easy grade with a little up and down that went about 8 miles round trip. This is a popular hike due to it's ease of access for a day hike or a 3-5 day backpacking trip. There are a lot of great views, tons of rhododendrons, and lots of nice meadows and river crossings. You can look at the old mine or stay in the multitude of campsites beyond there.
